Activities appear as pdf files not fit files

My Garmin activities appear as .pdf files not .fit files on my computer and I can't upload them to the Garmin website. I have been using Garmin for years and never had this problem before. Can anyone help? Is there a way of changing them to appear as .fit files?

It sounds like you might have associated the FIT file extension with your PDF app.

On Windows you can associate file extensions with particular apps.
