Pioneer power meter

I recently bought a Pioneer dual sided power meter, but it's not working properly. Both left and right side have new batteries and display an orange light, so it's in dual sided ant+ mode. When I search the power meter I find him directly. Calibration is performed as instructed but gives very high values like 11847. When I ride it, most of the time I get no reading, sometimes it gives some reading but this is incorrect. What is wrong or what can I do?
  • Probably You bought a faulty Pioneer... (btw why did You buy it, there are so much better powermeters on the market than this discontinued Pio..., like Power2Max..)

Try it with an another older Garmin, i think You have a friend who has an older type (520, 820 or 1000) and test with that also.
