Hi,
Been using Garmin 945 watch for a year now, without a HRM belt, on a daily basis and for MTB riding.
I want to be able to have my pulse and other factors visible on my bike stem.
One option would be buying a HRM belt and putting the 945 on the stem but this would be quite small font to read.
Another option I can gain some more benefits from is getting a 530 unit and using it.
Assuming I buy the 530, I wonder about few things:
1. I can use the 945 as my pulse reader (I'm aware of the limitations of the wrist HR vs. the chest belt HR reading) and extend the watch display to the 530. Will I have the MTB dynamics measured in that way from the 530?
2. I can start both units a MTB ride and then the pulse reading from the 945 will be transmitted to the 530 but at the end I will have to delete one of the exercises - right? True-up cannot delete it automatically I guess.
Thanks!
