Can not select Trailforks map on device

1.)

Garmin Express says that Trailforks Map 2018.20 is installed on my Garmin Edge 530. But I cannot select this map in any profile. My device only shows

  • INTL Standard Basemap, NR
  • Garmin Cycle Map EU, North East, 2020.10
  • Garmin DEM, North East, 2017.20
  • Garmin Cycle Map EU, South West, 2020.10

So where ist the Trailforks Map?

2.) 

Garmin Express does not offer any updates neither Trailforks 2019.10, Trailforks 2019.20 nor Trailforks 2020.10.

Can anyone tell me how to get Garmin Express to offer the update?

    I did solve my problem.

    The Trailforks Map has not been unlocked correctly. My Edge 530 is a replacement for another device. Though I did copy all my settings from the old device to this device. That's why the Trailforks IQ App didn't offer me to unlock the map. After reseting the device to factory settings and reinstalling the Trailforks Map 2018.20 i was able to unlock the map by starting the Trailforks IQ App and reentering my credentials.

    I have the same problem (maybe) and a couple of questions:

    • a factory reset is probably the only way to get this sorted, right? 
    • how do I unlock the Trailforks Map via the CIQ app - is it enough to let the CIQ app connect to my Trailforks account via a mobile device?
    • how do I make sure the Trailforks Map is unlocked?
    • is 2018.20 really the latest version?

    I don't know. But it did solve the problem for me.

    Yes, that's the way to unlock the map.

    You cannot select a locked Trailforks Map. So if you can select it, it is unlocked.

    No. The lastest version is 2020.10. The update was enabled as soon as the map has been unlocked.

    Thank you @Kermit - managed to get things up and running. I had to start a Mountainbike activity which gave me the message "Unlocking maps". When I connected my Edge via USB afterwards it updated the Trailforks maps to 2020.10 - so everything should be fine for now.
