Edge 530 GPS issues

I Have e Edge 530.

After updating to version 5.50 GPS have been very problematic. The device is simply not acquiring a signal.

I have tried restoring factory settings, and also did a master reset.

GPS version is 2.90 and the EPO is valid.

I have had it outside for 15 minutes, and still nothing as happened.

Can anyone help me?

I had the same problem, posted here but no one answered. I sent my device back as it was a new unit.

Have you tried syncing via Connect or Express? This should provide it with a starting GPS location which will aid it in finding a satellite fix.

This is a user forum not a support portal. I apologise on behalf of all Garmin users for not getting back to you quickly enough. ;)

If you want Garmin support, you should contact Garmin support. They usually reply within a day or two even during these times. It's also a good idea to have a go at reading the manual, which would have told you this.
