Using the Garmin Connect website, I created two different road bike courses. Then, before downloading to my Edge 530 running the v5.50 firmware, I added a manual course point near the beginning of both courses to alert me to start LiveTracking (autostart of LiveTracking not working for me due I believe to terrible cell coverage at the start of my course - that's another issue). I verified that the course point was saved properly and they appeared properly on the web version of the course.
After downloading these courses to my 530, I rode both over the past week - In both cases I was never alerted to the course point on the Edge 530. As far as I can tell, the notification option for course points is enabled. Am I missing a setting on the 530 or is there an issue with being alerted to course points these days?
