Navigation: turn prompt does not have the arrow

This is a problem (at least form me) that is both dangerous and annoying as ***.

The "map" screen that guides me through a route shows the next turn indication always. This is great. On this screen I can also always see the arrow which indicates my location relative to everything else on the map.

Now, the screen that pops up whenever there's an upcoming turn on the route, but I'm not on the "map" screen already: It does not have aforementioned arrow. Hence I have no idea which turn this is and how far I'm from it. This is extremely frustrating as I have to click the "back" button, then go back to activity screen and then scroll all the way to my "map" screen to see where I am. GPS is unable to provide fast enough feedback, especially at higher speeds (25-30 kmh is where this is still bareable, but forget about it on any downhill section). A lot of the time this takes too long and I miss the turn. Most of the time clicking the crap out of my headunit is dangerous, especially when I'm on threshold on a busy road, going 50kmh downhill and aware that the incoming turn is less than 200 meters away but I just can't see it.

The problem is that I don't want to stay on the "map" screen all the time, as it does not provide training metrics. The amount if fields is limited and even if that was not the case - the screen would be too cramped to be productive.

Don't get me wrong: I do think the map screen is quite good for such a small screen. I did quite long trips and really loved it. But I feel that the problem with popup "turn incoming" screen is going to either kill or cripple me for life one day.

Please, tell me there's a way to make the "turn incoming" popup screen look exactly like the map screen does. Or at least something that will make it possible to see my location relative to the turn.
