Performance Condition Data Not working.

My Performance Condition Data is just bit flipping on all my non recovery rides. Just blocks between 1 and 0.. Is there an existing thread on this or does anyone have a clue what's going on there? Nothing useful came up in search. FWIW I am using a TICKR HRM strap on BT connection to the 530.

  • PC is a comparison of your heart rate versus power output, compared with the baseline of someone with your VO2Max.

If your baseline VO2Max is established from good data, PC will start slightly positive (after a warmup) and gradually decline as fatigue accumulates over a long run/ride.

With regular training and increasing fitness, you can expect your heart rate to be lower for a given output, or to stay lower for longer, which will lead to higher PC numbers and/or keeping PC positive for longer. Accumulate a few rides with a longer positive or higher PC, and you can expect an increase in your VO2Max. As VO2Max is the baseline for PC, that increase becomes the new baseline, and PC numbers will be closer to zero.

TL;DR - looks pretty normal for a steady state effort like your ride.
