Edge 530 (5.50) is falsely reading (if at all) HR sent from HRM3-SS

Edge 530 running on software update (5.50) was showing false HR readings, if any, sent from HRM3-SS unit. HR readings with Edge 530 software version (5.48) were normal. The HRM3-SS has new battery as of March 2020, electrode contacts are clean.
