Can you load Strava live segments only with Strava Summit and how can you tell the head unit if you have a speed sensor to read only the sensor’s speed not the Gps speed. Thanks

Yes you need Strava Summit for Strava segments. If you have a speed sensor connected the device will automatically use it for speed instead of the GPS. You don't need to change a setting.
