I just received my 530 in the mail
I've been trying to set it up for the past 4hrs and have been having 1 issue after another.
1st I fully charged the unit
1) initially Garmin express did not recognize it and told me: This device is not compatible with express
---- after about 30 minutes it finally recognized it
2) I'm still having issues updating the maps. Garmin express says there is an update to the maps - It runs for about 1+hrs then gives me an error message "there was an error installing the update" I still can't get that to continue
3) The device won't pair with my iPhoneXs
4) The device took about 20min to find my home wifi network (I'm sitting about 10feet away from my wifi hot spot)
5) I was trying to setup the HR monitor (that came with the unit) and it's strapped to my chest and the 530 just continues to show me the circling ball.
6) I was continuing to look at all the other screens and the unit went blank, and now I can't turn it back on.
--- I've since re-plugged it into the computer to "charge? it" and it's not restarting.
UGH, This is all within the first 4hrs of unboxing it.
