I know that the Sony GPS chipset isn’t everyone’s favourite, but I’ll just park that.
I’m riding a Strava segment up a mountain quite frequently, this segment takes me under a motorway (autovista) bridge, and the GPS drops out for about 1 second whilst I am under the bridge. This second causes the Strava segment information to disappear, and leaves me “on my own” when chasing the segment.
It appears that Garmin code drops the segment if there is “any break” in the GPS signal, wouldn’t some of our issues be resolved if the code allowed for a break of a few seconds in these segments?
Your thoughts please!
