My Wife is using a Tacx Neo 2 trainer, which is right beside where I train on a non-smart Trainer.
Every time time my Garmin 530 starts, while inside, it asks me if I want to add the Smart Trainer. I would like to disable this, but I don't think I can.
So, I choose to add the trainer to avoid from getting the prompt. Then disable the speed/cadence and power ANT devices associated with the trainer.
However, the edge 530 still takes the speed from the Tacx Neo 2 trainer. It should not do this. I did the same thing with the Edge 520 and it did not take the speed from the trainer, it took it from my speed sensor.
If I remove the trainer device, the correct speed shows from my speed sensor, but then the startup prompt returns.
I really wish I could just set the device priority on the speed, cadence and power sensor devices, it would make things so much easier dealing with multiple devices that are active at the same time.
