Is it possible to have both Fenix 6X and Edge 530 connected to the phone at the same time?

I have both an Edge 530 and a Fenix 6X. I've noticed that I cannot have both connected to my phone (Google Pixel XL with Android 10) simultaneously. If I want to get notifications or be able to upload from the Edge, I have to disable the Bluetooth connection on my watch.

Does anyone know if this is expected or is it a limitation of Garmin Connect, the Edge, the Fenix, the Phone or multiple of the above? Maybe I just need to (finally) upgrade my phone to something newer.

It will be a Bluetooth limitation. You can only have a certain number of devices connected with Bluetooth at once. As you have found one Garmin is the limit on your phone.

Yes it's possible, edge 530+edge130+f6pro+fr45 all connected and sync works

That's strange that both won't work for you. I have a VivoActive3 and an Edge 530 and they both connect at the same time. When a text comes in for example, I receive it on both devices. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S7 running Android 8.

I have fenix 6s + Edge 530 + Pixel3a = all connected and sync fine among each other, its great!
