Edge 530 not compatible with GC courses??

I have a lot of courses in Garmin connect mobile (ios). Since the last update (from the edge), my edge 530 is listed as not compatible with these courses (most of them created in Garmin connect, some imported from other websites into connect).

This is a gps device created for navigating, so I assume it is compatible, just like it has always been in the past?

Tried:

Updating GCM to the latest version
double and triple checked if the edge is on the latest version as well
Delete the edge from GCM and add it again
Restart the phone
Restart the edge 530
Tried with different route types (mtb, roadcycling,...)

Nothing seems to work... another great hardware product that is useless most of the time due to the terrible accompanying software...

Anyone else who had this problem and managed to find a solution?

I assume this file is an activity that you want to convert to a course? It worked for me using Garmin Connect Web (not the app). https://connect.garmin.com/modern

i don't know how to attach the screen shot here, but i could create the course in GCM or GC, but when i try to send the course to my Edge 510, GCM shows that it's NOT COMPATIBLE, but it's connected.

my IOS version is 14.5.1 and GCM version 4.42.1, Edge 510 firmware 6.20

Not a screenshot, the actual file.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., then post a link to the file in your post.

I was able to send this to my Forerunner 920XT using GCM.

Is this the case for you with every course? Just this one?

Also, see related thread. Might apply to your issue. Basically reinstalling the app and removing all courses from the device - Course upload to Edge 520 plus problems

yes, i'm trying to plan a route in GC/GCM and save it as a course in Edge510.

Just following your suggesting to re-installing the GCM and remove the device in my phone and Edge510, reconnect, it works finally...
