I've had the 530 for a few months, this is my first head unit. Initially just used on the trainer and a few local rides. With improving weather I have ventured further afield and even tried using some navigation. Now, on some rides it frequently beeps and puts up a message. I think it's every 100m. It doesn't happen every ride. I thought that it might be only when navigation was on, but that's not the case. I thought Komoot might be implicated but it's happened when not using Komoot. I set a distance alert of 5km and thought that had stopped it but it did it again yesterday. I wasn't using navigation then either.
It's really annoying and the message obscures the fields at the bottom of the screen. It's probably a basic beginner error but I can't find anything online about it.
