Virtual Partner - How do I get data in?

I just got my Edge 420 and was wondering how do I import my laps from my Strava? Also, is it possible that I upload my friend's personal best lap so that I can use his timing as a virtual partner?

If you have Starva integrated, you can import routes/rides into Garmin Connect, create them as a course, and ride it. You can do this for your friend's (Strave friend) too.

So technically anyone's segment which is public, I guess I could technically import them and have them setup as a virtual partner?

Thank you. Do you or anyone else have any ideas on where I can get information on how to import someone else's ride into my Edge 530?

If your Garmin Connect and Strava accounts are linked, you can view public Strava segments in the Garmin Connect app itself and send them to your device. Just read up on linking the 2 accounts together, and sharing information between the 2.
