First time I have experienced a discrepancy between average power between my 530 and Strava. My 530/Connect is showing 154 and Strava 144. Fit file attached.

As mentioned above it is caused by how the 2 calculations handle stopped time.
On the Edge if you use auto-pause or stop and start the activity the Edge excludes the stopped time from the average power calculation. Strava appears to average the total power over the total elapsed time, including stopped time so it will produce a lower average.
The image is small below, but I calculated the average power included and excluding stopped time and got very similar values
Edge 151, Strava 140.
Thank you for looking into this. I was just curious as to what was different for this specific ride. Strava is usually one point lower then Garmin for my power average and always a tenth lower in MPH, my ride yesterday Garmin has 19.1 MPH for both moving speed and average moving speed and Strava shows 19, for average power Garmin has 192 and Strava 191. The only thing I can think of was on the ride with bigger average power discrepancy was that I didn’t calibrate the power meter prior to my ride, which I usually do. My setting haven’t changed and I’ve logged over 15K miles using the 530 without a difference like this before.
