Garmin 530 not pairing with HR or Speed sensors

Just unboxed my new Garmin 530 today. During set up I updated firmware to 4.10. However, when I try to pair my existing Garmin HRM and Speed sensors, the devices recognizes them and attempts to pair with them, but does not complete the process - It just keeps trying until I cancel.

I know the sensors work since I've been using then successfully with my Forerunner 910XT.

Anyone know how I an fix this?

Same situation for a year now

1. Turn your phone BT off.

2. Delete the current pairing.

3. Add the sensors again.

Did you unpair your Garmin from your phone's Bluetooth settings? Did you unpair your phone from your Garmin's Connection settings? You need to do both and start over pairing with Garmin Connect, not on your phone's Bluetooth settings.

Pair sensors to the 530 via ANT+ not Bluetooth. It is more reliable.
