Can't get Live Segments to work

I initially starred 3 segments in Strava and they all downloaded to my Edge 530. I was going out today so starred several more segments and none of them appeared on the phone. I tried multiple times with no success so I went into the segment settings and deleted all segements from the device thinking I could just start again. Since then I haven't been abe to get a single starred segement onto the device. One thing I have noticed a few times is that before the sync has even completed it pops up a message saying "deleting segments" then a second message pops up with "deleted all segments". It's almost as if it downloads them and then deletes them but I have no idea why. Any help would be appreciated as I'm finding it intensely frustrating.

Have you used the navigation during your ride? If yes, strava segments do not work during navigation.

Sorry, it's not about them appearing on a ride, they don't appear on the device under Segments at all. I've starred a number of segments on strava and can see them listed on the Strava site but I've synced the 530 multiple times throughout the day and none of them are getting onto my edge.

Is Garmin Connect also configured to use Strava segments? By default it is set to Garmin Segments.

I noticed the same behaviour. Switched the segments to Strava segments on the garmin connect website. I could see the strava segments on the website but none of them are shown the edge after a synch. The list is empty.

Maybe it only works with strava premium?

No, it's configured to use Steve segments, not Garmin.

I am having the same issue with Strava. Now I cant get any of the segments on the device.

Exactly the same thing is happening to me. Worked fine two days ago but now won’t sync!

I have the same problem on both my 1030 and 820. All the live segments disappeared on 14th September. I have tried refreshing all the segments by switching to Garmin segments and enabling Strava live segments again but this does not work. I have also tried both the mobile app and Garmin Express. When I update via Garmin Express, I can see all of the FIT file in the New Files folder but they don't get processed by the Garmin device.

Got the same problem on my Edge 530 over wifi and Fenix 5 over Garmin Connect app. It has worked fine a week ago. Now it stopped on Friday.
