Garmin 530 will not connect to Garmin vivoactive 3 watch in extended display mode to share heart rate data from the watch.
I think the vivoactive 3 does not support to extend its display to other devices. (This feature is available for more sportive / multi-sport watches.)
To show the heatrate measured by the vivoactive 3 on the Edge 530
- enable submission of the heart rate transmission on the vivoactice 3 (option can be enabled in the heart rate widged settings menu),
- if required, connect the vivoactive 3 as a heart rage sensor on the Edge 530 and
- enable a heart rate data field on the Edge 530.
