Garmin 530 not compatible with Garmin connect to upload a course.

My new Garmin 530 is listed as ‘not compatible’ in Garmin Connect when I go to upload a course. Garmin connect will not allow me to upload a course I have made in Garmin connect. 530 has latest version of firmware and I am using latest Version of Garmin connect on an android device. Very frustrating. Garmin Connect will still Let me upload this route to my old Garmin 25.

I would like to suggest to start the upload of the route to the Edge 530 in the Connect app on your smartphone.

I solved the issue by deleting the Garmin Connect app with and re-installed it.

've just bought one yesterday 10/3/20. Reinstalled the connect mobile app. It says a course I created on the mobile app will be sent when I next synch. I synch. No course. Courses are working as I uploaded some directly into newfiles on my PC yesterday evening. Its just the connect mobile app function that is not working. Please advise.

I know this is an old thread but I finally fixed this with my Edge 530. Like others this worked once then stopped working after an update. I deleted the GC app from my iPhone and also deleted all previous saved BT and BTL connection from the Bluetooth settings. I also removed the previous connections to my 'iPhone X' from the Edge. After reinstalling, pairing and syncing I can send from my phone to the edge again.

Thanks for this solution - same thing just happened to me all of a sudden (Sep 2021). Deleting the GC App, removing all BT connections (both phone and device) and reconnecting everything did the trick. Not sure why this cropped up, but was glad that with your help I figured it out.
