Should I have to open Garmin Connect in my Android phone when I ride with my Edge 530, in order to get notifications? Just wondering if that is normal behavior? I'm using a Samsung Galaxy s9 plus with latest firmware and 4.10 Garmin software.
If I open Connect at the beginning of my ride, everything seems to work. If I don't, then the GPS and phone don't seem like they connected.
