Changing data fields in Structured Workout screen

Hi, 

Is there a way to change the data fields showed in the Workouts screen? I really miss cadence and HR info when doing Power based Structured Workouts.

  • same thing I did

  • Add a new Data Screen and add the following data fields from Workout group(scroll down to bottom of data field list): Duration, Target and Workout Comparison. That'll give you the base Workout screen elements that you can then edit as desired. I added Cadence and HR. I had to play around with the layout options a bit to figure out optimal placement and what it would let me do.

    but the workout screen does not have more infos, just %ftp

    so we need to know our ftp %, cause the only thing I see is : 2minutes @ 35-40% ftp ??

  • Can anyone tell me if the Edge 530 will show what's coming next in your workout? 

    My Edge 520 kind of has that but it's in very small type at the top of the screen and half the time it just says "repeat steps 3-5" or something like that.

    The Stages computer has exactly what I'd like to see, but Stages won't automatically sync workouts from Training Peaks.

  • Pretty late on this, but how do you avoid the auto-switch to the training screen once the training starts or once it starts a new lap?

  • The Training Screen should only be at the start. If you scroll to your normal screens, it should stay there, even if you start the next lap.

    The Training Screen does re-appear if you Stop your ride. There is also a pop-up banner at the start of each workout step/lap with the details of that step, but it should stay on your selected screen.
