black bar or smaller map when browsing map

hi forums,

when browsing a map in zoom/pan the map gets a black bar at the bottom or is displayed smaller so the "-" for zooming is not on the map anymore. this is kind annoying as especially in the browse map function i would like to see as much of the map as possible.

anyone else having this issue?
