Virb Edit metric sync?

Hi,

Did the format of the fit file change with the 530? When I try to sync my video with G-Metrics in Virb Edit, I seem to have power and speed misaligned. I am wondering if Virb Edit has an issue interpreting the Edge 530 fit file? I go to Garmin Connect and export the fit file from the synced activity. I then import that file into Virb Edit.

Try the FIT file from the Export Original menu.

I haven't used the virb edit for a while, so I'm not sure if it makes any sense, but perhaps speed comes from the virb's gps and power comes from the activity fit file, and since the video recording and the activity on the edge might have been started at slightly different times, then these data could be out of alignment if you did not perform a manual alignment. I remember having a similar issue years ago with a fit file imported from an old forerunner 310xt.
