Garmin 530 Battery Drain while off

I have had no real issues with my new Edge 530. Button's aren't sticky, sensors stay paired and battery life while riding is great. I have noticed one bit of strange behaviour: my Edge 530 drains power, even when off (ie: hold top left button down, select "Power Off") I've had the unit for a month now and can say I consistently average 2.5% power per 24 hour period while off.

Is this normal behaviour? Thanks

I performed Steps 1,2 and 3. It is 100% charged, powered off and on again - still at 100% and then turned off.

I will follow up in the morning.

This morning the percentage is 100%. So this time there was no battery drain while powered off. Good news, I hope it will be consistent

No changes. Same phone, same sensors. Simply I didn’t experience an overnight drain this time. I will still be observing if it occurs again

hello, i have a same problem with my new edge 530. it use battery when complitely OFF, about 10 % at day. I'm sure it's OFF not SLEEP and i have turned all sensors , off wifi and off gps and BT.

Can you help me if there is a solution or is a device problem? Thanks

Hello the solution to my problem were a new Edge 530. I sent it to get repaired and they sent me a new one.

Hello mjohannisson, thank you for answer. I have sent today my request of assistance to garmin support. Hope they can resolve this problem. I am regret, because all other functions of edge 530 works great! I'll keep update this forum if can help anyone else! Bye
