Bluetooth connection failed

 Always have to open the GC app. 

Not normal. With my past 520 always oké. 

So what about my messages and incoming calls? 

Never connected because no internet connection on the road. 

And I haven't 4 G on. 

Anyone answers for this.? New device, shouldn't may happen. Should have bought a Wahoo Roam maybe.

    Yes, I have exactly this problem. Worked fine on 520 with the same phone. 530 only connects when GC app is open on screen. Very frustrating. Tried re-pairing the phone, tried reinstalling the app. Am on firmware 3.50.

    Same issue using an Android phone. Only connects when the App is open despite allowing the app to run in the background on start up.. Have gone through the pairing process several times. . Never had this problem with my Edge 520
