Setting elevation

The manual describes these steps to set the elevation for your present location:

  1. Go for a ride
  2. Select ---> Set Elevation
  3. Enter the elevation, and select Heavy check mark️

The problem is, I am not finding this "Set Elevation" menu anywhere. Do you know if this menu actually exists on the Edge 530. I have the latest firmware.

    I found a way to set the elevation, but not via the missing menu described in the manual. 

    Menu --> Navigation --> Saved Locations --> Save My Location --> Edit --> Change Elevation

    I have created a case to further research this. I will provide an update when I have one available.

    Before starting a ride, get the computer so the data screens are visible by pressing the enter button to select a profile, then once you have selected the profile you want, the data screens will be displayed. You can then scroll down to the elevation screen and press the enter button to access the menu. Scroll down to “Set Elevation”. 

    You can also do this after starting a ride by pausing and then scrolling down to the elevation screen and repeating the steps above once there.
