Group Track for Dummies

A friend and I each recently purchased Edge 530's and want to engage the Group Track feature. We feel that we have tried everything to no avail. Perhaps someone could direct me to some basic instructions (please not Garminspeak - I've tried). Thanks in advance

Try this video. It is for the 820 so some of the menus may be slightly different, but it should be pretty clear.

Has anyone gotten group track to work at all? My ride buddies followed the instructions but cant see anyone on our devices. For now we’ve resorted to using Life360 app.

I manage to get it working, but sometimes the phone is disconnected, i don't know why, and the grouptrack is disconnected.

So, putting another call out there - has anybody got Group Track to work?

It works almost all the time for me. Every once in a while a rider doesn't get added at all. More often it takes a while for a rider to be added to the group after we start. I use it 5-6 times a week. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with it.

Tried many times. Does not work with my Edge 530. I know they have fixed a lot of bugs , for which am grateful , but I used to use Grouptrack all the time with my riding partners and other Garmin computers and do miss it.

Works great, just wish we could change to default English replies so we can sledge each other via the units.
