I am finding my 530 is not automatically picking up the settings from my 8050 front and rear derailleurs via the my wireless and the e-tube app. What might be causing this I am having to switch off automatic and select from the presets instead.

I would check that the Di2 components are up-to-date, especially the EW-WU111 and battery
All firmware up to date. The rear does update but the data field reports the previous values. The front incorrectly reports 53/39 instead of 50/34. Needs fixing?
Strange I have no issue with it.
What model of D-fly are you using?
Its the EWWU111. Working perfectly apart from auto picking up the derailleur gear ranges. Can just set manually but I've been swapping wheels with 11-30 and 11-32 cassettes so the auto setting would be slicker!
Auto mode on both the new and older D-fly were out to lunch, I had set the gears manually.
Thanks. There was similar bug at one time on some of the other Edge models. I wonder if it got carried over. Let me check my settings again.
The automatic selection does not appear to be working. I had manually selected the correct size. When I intentionally selected the wrong size it was not corrected when the Edge established communication with the Di2 system.
I have raised a support ticket with Garmin on this,
Thanks for raising this issue with Garmin. I have the same issue on my 830. I just used the preset gears. On my 520 it picks up the gearing info. stored on Di2. It's not a big deal to me as preset gears is a good work-around.
This was resolved in the most recent software version 4.10. For any future issues, please create a new thread.
