Segments Efforts

Recently my Edge have started to default to latest effort during efforts instead of earlier default of Rival.

I have tried to find how to go back to the original default.

Goal (If you have one set for the segment)
Rival (Next person above you that you're following on the leaderboard)
PR
KOM/QOM

any ideas?

It sounds like the unit is configured to use auto-select. With auto-select enabled it will change the VP throughout the segment to give you the closest time in front of you to chase.

Select Training -> Strava Live Segments -> Segment Options -> Auto Select Effort

I made suggested change and still have the same issue on segments.

I just got my 530 and one feature I was looking forward to was Strava segments on rivals. As per this thread, only get PR, goal and kom. I want to challenge my friends. I remember doing this with my old garmin devices.

thought I follow up. Its now working correctly. It took 1-1.5 days for all the sync to complete and displaying correctly. It happened all of a sudden on a segment and started to see my mates on my garmin
