I had issues with "Live Segments" freezing, which were fixed by disabling Galileo, and going with GPS.
But three irritating things happened on my ride today.
1. 530 disconnected from my iPhone early on.
2. Ride would not upload (took several tries).
3. Navigation froze 3/4 of the way through a 62 mile route. The 530 became unresponsive when this happened, but I was able to change screens after a couple of minutes. The course was still frozen, so I chose "Stop Course", then chose it again. After it calculated, turn notifications started up again. But this didn't impress a couple of guys on the ride who have poor battery life with their 820's. Both were considering the 530, but now may go the Wahoo route.
I'm pretty damn frustrated with this. My 820 was a nightmare with navigation, and not-so-good performance with my 530.
Last week, on a 150-mile route, I got a turn that no one else got (all loaded the route from the same website). And this week, navigation froze.
