Map Details when zoomed out

before i had a Edge 520 with custom maps (openfietsmap). When zoomed out, there was still some level of detail visible.

With the Edge 530 however, as soon as i zoom out to about 2km level, basically all details vanish. Only some highways remain visible which is mostly useless. I played around a bit with the map settings but could not figure out a solution. I am using the preinstalled map for western europe (Germany)

PS: I am so far unimpressed by the map drawing speed. I had hoped for more speedup compared to 520.

    The level of detail is set for each individual activity profile. In the selected activity profile settings, go to Navigation>Map>Map Visibility>Custom. In this menu, you can adjust the level of detail as well as the zoom level at which certain features begin to appear. Note that rendering too many elements will slow down the drawing speed.
