I’m trying to get my Garmin Edge 130 Plus (software version 3.00 Sensor Hub 0.06) to control my Wahoo KICKR V4 via ANT+ FE-C, but I can’t get the trainer to show up as an indoor trainer. My Fēnix 7S detects and controls the KICKR perfectly, so the trainer itself is fine.
Here’s what I’ve tried:
• Menu → Indoor Trainer = Always returns “No Indoor Trainer Connection”
• Edge 130 Plus detects the KICKR as a power meter under list of sensors (presumably over ANT+ and BLE) but not as FE-C / Indoor Trainer.
• Tried with Bluetooth disabled on my phone to prevent Bluetooth binding conflicts but that didn't help either
• The KICKR shows ANT+ ID 47274, which should be correct for FE-C.
• Edge displays the trainer as “Wahoo KICKR B8AA” in the Power Meter list, but still does not show it in the Indoor Trainer list.
• Fēnix 7S picks up the FE-C trainer instantly and can control it without issues.
• Power-cycling both devices, resetting connections, and repeating searches didn’t change anything.
Any help or confirmation from Garmin staff or others who use a 130 Plus with a KICKR would be greatly appreciated.
