Cadence not showing

My Edge 130 has been performing well since I purchased it 2-3 years ago. All of a sudden it is not showing cadence. I have tried pairing it again via my iPhone 12, (Giant Ride Control) with little success.

I am riding a 2022 Giant Trance X +1 Pro 29er e-MTB.

I suspect it may have something to do with the Giant Ride Control ap.

Help please!

Are you sure the cadence sensor's battery isn't weak/dead? I ask that although my Garmin cadence sensor is going strong after more than a decade.

Thanks for helping. I have just come in from a ride after playing around with my phone and the Giant Ride Control Ap. Cadence is working fine now!!! The problem I suspect was in the pairing between the Giant 'electronics, and the Giant Ride Control Ap which has been modified/replaced in the last few months.
