Is it possible to use the Garmen 130 Edge plus in a different country than where you bought it?

I bought the edge 130 in the US. I'm going to Ireland and plan on biking. Will I be able to download routes to my Garmin and use it?

I see no reason why not. The only complication will be the change in time zone but that should take care of itself with a GPS connection.

So you haven't actually done this? I don't want to end up somewhere and not be able to follow the gpx.

I'm Canadian and have done it in a different time zone in the US.

Very late reply, but yes it will work anywhere in the world, I have bought it in the US and used it in Europe (navigating courses).
