Edge 130 Plus never ever finds GPS

My unit just always times out on trying to find GPS. Doesn’t matter where/when etc. I’m at wit’s end; does anyone have experience with successfully troubleshooting this? I’ve seen stuff online about trying to erase particular files, but I don’t see them when I connect to my computer (a Mac).

Start by synching with Garmin Express on your computer, then make sure you sync with Garmin Connect on your phone, then go outside and see if you can get a GPS signal. Syncing first puts the latest satellite data on the Edge. If this doesn't work hopefully someone that knows more than me can direct you on next steps.

You can also try a complete reset, to see if that helps. If not, it's likely a hardware issue.
