software update but number did not change?

I received a software update notification yesterday and applied it...

Before this I was on SW 2.90 but after the update the number is the same.

Now looking in the about: SW Version 2.90 GPS: 2.50 Sensor Hub: 0.06

It seems that nothing has changed since the last 2.90 update?

A bit hard to keep track of what has changed with Garmin beeing so silet about what is happening. Hoping to see the power-off/resume starting to function but it seems this is update did not change software version. Hmm...

Most garmin devices received a timezone map update in the recent days, so this is a likely candidate.

I noticed this too and wondered what had changed.

I am really hoping my lack of elevation graph is fixed.

I can't recall exactly what it was about, but definitely NOT a full firmware update. I think it was the timezone map or something like that.
