Edge 130 plus stopped working with my polar H7 HRM

I’ve just bought a Garmin Edge 130 plus from Amazon.  I’ve had it less than a week.  I’ve done 3 indoor training sessions using a wahoo speed, cadence and a polar H7 HRM.  Tonight the heart rate strap although showing as connected wouldn’t display in the field, it just displayed —-.  I’ve tried removing and re paring several times.  Hard boot,  reset.  Still doesn’t work.  The strap works fine and checked with my polar M400 watch and my iPhone with the wahoo app. I’ve changed the battery in the strap, makes no difference. Works fine on everything but the edge 130 but was working fine before.

  • In the end I contacted technical support and went around it over and over with them.  Eventually we found out Amazon had supplied me a version of the Edge 130 plus designed for the Asian market. I decided to buy a Wahoo Tickr.  I called Wahoos technical support regarding compatibility and the lady on support gave me 20% off one of their straps.  The wahoo straps been great.  I just use the Polar H7 now when I run with my M400 watch.
