Just happened on my ride today after I had earlier in the day synced with my computer which I had not done in a while. I have had not a single issue with it until now.
I had a real problem with this. My Edge 130 Plus once rebooted six times during a single ride. What fixed it for me was to switch off the Bluetooth on my phone. I usually carry my cell phone with me, and I think my Edge would try to perform an auto-sync with my phone in the middle of a ride. This would confuse it and force a reboot. With Bluetooth switched off, the computer doesn't know my phone is there and everything works.
