SW 2.80 & Elevation Graph Still Blank

I have recently updated to SW version 2.80 (349862b) and the elevation graph is still blank.

I used to own the 130 and often the graphs would be blank and then sometimes mid Ride would show a graph.

I then updated to the 130 plus and disappointingly it did the same.

When I saw the notes for 2.80 I thought great it’s sorted but no.

Any ideas what can be done to get a reliable elevation plot?

On tonight’s ride the graph was working fine. I will continue to monitor it.

Graph still not working consistently. Some rides ok but today nothing.

Same here. After 1/2 mile or so of riding (with a blank, "graph paper" screen, showing vertical and horizontal scales of 0 feet and 0 feet), sometimes, by chance (?), an elevation profile shows up, but sometimes it doesn't. There also seems to be no way to manually zoom in or out of the elevation plot. If this could be done on the elevation screen (like on the map screen), maybe a graph could be "forced" to appear.

Anyway, at least there is some progress with version 2.8.

Could it be that auto pause needs to be off (which is the default setting)? Seems to be working now, as far as I can tell.

Sadly, it does not always work. Just stopped plotting in the middle of a ride. However, in the history, the elevation plot turns out ok. This feature needs some debugging.

Again some rides the graph plots others it doesn’t and sometimes appears mid ride. I always have auto pause on.

I noticed that chances of live plotting during the ride improve if I start the ride from the plotting screen page, and not from the default data screen page. Once the hatched area shows up at the bottom of the graph, it almost always will work!

It appears the elevation graph does not work when I select commute but is ok on mountain.

Thanks, I will try that. Have always selected "Road" before where the graph sometimes shows up and sometimes doesn't.
