Do I connect the speed sensor to my vivoactive 4 or to the edge 130 plus or to garmin connect app?

So I have the following:

Tacx Boost trainer, speed sensor, edge 130 plus and vivoactive 4 watch. I am unable to pair the speed sensor to the connect app but able to connect to my watch. Do I pair the speed sensor to the edge 130 plus, too?
