Charging Edge 130 during riding

Hey Guys!

I am hesitating to get or a 130 plus or an 530/830. I am a roadbike fan so the MTB features are not so important for me but I am a big fan or long rides, so I would need to charge my Edge during riding. If someone has a 130 Plus, could You tell me if there is a gap for the cable if I am using a guidon attached support? Thanks for Your help in advance :)

It doesn't support the Garmin Charge Power Pack like the 530/830/1030+.

However, it does appear you can charge it while riding if you have a micro-usb cable and external battery charger. Probably wouldn't want to use that if it's raining though. Starting an activity and plugging it in to a wall charger just now allowed it to keep recording and displaying your regular data pages.

The charging port looks like it's far enough in front of the mount that you could still plug in with most bike mounts.
