Can the Edge 130 Plus Control Trainers (Erg Mode)?

Reading DC RM's Edge 130 Plus review he states that a firmware update would soon be available to allow the 130 Plus to control trainers (erg mode) in workouts. Has this functionality materialized yet?

Just tried it yesterday, it does control Smart-trainers with the 2.6 Firmware. I have used it with a Heart-rate sensor, and it even gives you Training Effect (Aerob and anaerob), that might be a bug as it is not in the technical details of Edge 130 plus, but I won´t complain
