For decades, Garmin has chosen not to provide functionality to have Auto Lap at Course Markers on any Course. You can only have Auto Lap at one GPS Location. Does anyone know why such a rediculous restriction has persisted for more than 20 years?

It's probably because a 'lap' is usually defined as once around a course.
