Not seeing Ant+ functions in the SRAM axs force shifting sensor

I have the latest SRAM AXS Force shifters and the Garmin 1050. After discovering the shifter sensor and going to its details, there is no Ant functions.

    Me too...do you start witch function #1 ? Otherwise you see nothing..

    I have this exact same issue. AXS Force E1 shifters paired with a Garmin 840. No Ant + function setup option on the garmin computer.

    Some how I got it working! Lots of trying do not really what exactly was the secret sauce. I went into SRAM AXS and assigned ant1 to left blip the ant 2 to right. On my Garmin I connected to the shifter sensor. I think I waited a while did a reboot on everything went back to the shifter sensor and could see the ant functions. I selected ant1 and assigned it to move the screens then ant2 to ring the bell. That took about 5hrs, lots of dicking around but works well now. I commute on bike paths so a bell is mandatory, it’s a novice but convienant feature.

    I finally got it to work as well. The trick was 1. having the latest Garmin Edge software installed 2. Go to the garmin sensor screen where it shows the shifters connected. 3. Have your phone right next to the computer and go to the SRAM AXS app where you set the ANT + controls for the shifter buttons and select Function #1 or whichever you want to set. 

    Selecting the function control in the settings menu of the SRAM AXS app after the Garmin shifter sensor screen was open was the key to my success. I then looked back at my Garmin computer to see Set ANT+ Function 1 and Function 2.
