Connect IQ apps data stops

When an IQ datafield shows the IQ icon, it means: the datafield crashed.

Instead of holding the power button, you can tap and hold the datafield until it gets a border, then tap again and set it anew.

But to solve the problem you must email the developer. (See IQ store)

In my activity profile I use all the time, I have a handful of IQ data fields. When one goes, they allllll go. It happens every single time I use the Edge 1050. Happened with my 1040 as well. Even if I erase the device and start from scratch.

The "solution" I have come to use is: create an activity profile with NO IQ datafields. Switch to that activity profile, then switch right back to your normal profile. This works almost all the time.

I actually have to start the garmin, wait a minute for them all to crash, then do this trick. Then start the ride.

If there is an option in tyrewize to write/not write to the .fit file, try telling it not to write to the fit file. This might help.

Well, I feel some solace in that it’s not just me suffering with this. It’s frustrating enough that I have to use a connect IQ app for the tyrewize before I even feel with the crashing. 
Figured with it being the top unit it would be better but it seems to be one thing after another. 

This data field crashing issue has been going on a LONNGGG time. Not specific to the 1050 at all, and yeah it's kind of a pain

only hre to tell you than iam very lucky as i have the 1050 and the tyrewiz working as a charm on every ride.

the only problem its with the sensors itself, not a garmin problem.... the rear one has some drops and the figure dessapear...and then some minutes later apperas agian....and then off.....and then ok agian... it is happening before the last update 6.28 axs firmware.

So the data field doesn’t crash for you?
