TOPO Great Britain v3 PRO maps

Has anyone purchased and installed these UK OS Maps on a 1050 device?

I have them on my 1040, but I've just investigated the Garmin website and they are no longer listed as compatible for _any_ Edge device. Other country's TOPO Pro maps show as Edge compatible such as France, Germany and pretty much every country other than Great Britain.

Very strange given they were listed compatible for the 1040 when I bought them 18mths ago and they still work perfectly well today

    Further to this, I'm getting a complete runaround from Garmin support via email.

    After telling me they are not compatible with x40/x50 devices (I have them for my 1040!), I've been told that it's due to the lack of an SD card slot in the device. This is nonsense as they are available for download, which is how I have them on the 1040.

    Garmin, pls can you have a look at your map compatibility list for the TOPO Great Britain maps and either sort it out or come if with a credible reason why they are now not compatible...

    I bought the v3 ones last year and tried to download them onto my Edge 1040 and they wouldn't work (I hadn't checked the small print!!). I've previously used V2 in an edge 530 with no issues! 

    I messaged Garmin support who confirmed they would no longer work on an edge 1040 and refunded me!

    That's weird. I bought the V3 maps in April 2024 for my 1040 and they work fine to this day. I bought the London & South East sub-region.
