Edge 1050 stuck with power symbol

Every time I try to power down my Edge 1050 after being charged (since it automatically turns on when you disconnect it from the USB cable), the device gets stuck with a screen with the power symbol in the middle of it. To rectify, I need to hold the power button to recycle the device, go to the system settings and erase all temporary files, and then shut down again--which works. Anyone else have this issue or any solutions?

I don't know if it helps anyone, and I don’t know if it is a pattern, but I've noticed that:

after turning on the device (what happens after disconnect the cable) - if one turns it off immediately, then it happens that the power sign stays for up to one minute on the screen. I assume that after turn on there are some sync works in progress. You have to wait until they are done for turn off.

Wait until the double arrow icon and the Wi-Fi icon no longer appear in the top status bar.
